Main Principal, Gloria Murray, started her own accountancy practice in 1997 to help small businesses grow more effectively by better understanding both financial control and business development principles. Known as the Queen of Profit, the Practice is located near Glasgow, Scotland.

Her ongoing perseverance and willingness to achieve results with her clients has been recognised by her peers in various accountancy groups. In 2014 Gloria Murray (ahead of over 1,000 accountancy practices) was voted ‘The Most Innovative Accountant in the UK’. She followed up that award by being rewarded by the ‘2020 Group’ as ‘The Most Innovative Business Adviser in the UK’. As well as those awards, Gloria was also awarded by a separate accountancy Group labelled “AVN” as the ‘Accountant who Changes Lives in 2017’.

Gloria speaks regularly at business events and is described as being inspirational, hard hitting and straight to the point. She transmits her understanding of the numbers in a clear, concise and comprehensible way to help delegates get useful information they can use immediately to drive their business forward, gain confidence and belief that anything is achievable in life with the right guidance, commitment and mindset.

She is now a leading speaker in the profession and once again is invited to speak at major UK accountancy conferences. Her speeches include the digital revolution facing the profession.

She is one of the Keynote Speakers at the 2020 Group Business Advisory Conference in London on 13th June, 2019.

On joining Xeinadin, Gloria said: “It’s a privilege for our business to join a major like-minded community of both proactive and progressive accountancy practices. I’m truly honoured to have been head-hunted into the group. When I first heard the vision of the group I realised immediately that the industry was moving faster than ever before and that our clients would be best served by Murray Associates joining the ‘Firm of the Future’. The idea of pooling knowledge and specialisms with the ‘5th largest partnership’ in the UK gives our firm additional support to best serve our clients at a time where businesses need more support with Making Tax Digital and ongoing changes caused by the advancement of the digital world. I’m very proud to be part of a real team of partners. There’s never been a consolidation that has existed in our profession like this. The growth has been like a steam train in a hurry and there’s no sign of it slowing down.”
